The centrepiece consists of kissing lips in bright orange. They enclose differently coloured areas, which together create a three-dimensional effect - a channel. The foulard design honours the 50th anniversary of the women's suffrage in Switzerland. The first women's rights activists recognised that red makes an impression. And so the lipstick was chosen as the symbol of emancipation.
