Synthetic fishing nets floating in the sea form the basis of these knitted fabrics. The structures and techniques within the outfit should be reminiscent of nets or plastic. To achieve this, different yarns, types of knitting as well as plastic objects themselves were integrated. Different interpretations of nets are created, which acquire a corroded, water-eaten look.
The work is a testament to plastic waste, which is colourful and can be beautiful in its own tragic way.
